Job Description and Duties
Management Services Technician (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) - Orange Coast DISTRICT / North SECTOR / Bolsa Chica State Beach
The reporting location for this position is Bolsa Chica State Beach Headquarters Office located in the city of Huntington Beach. This position will work under the general supervision of State Park Superintendent III.
The incumbent should possess the following interpersonal skills: good internal and external customer service, efficient time management, solid communication skills, analytical reasoning, ability to multi-task, resourcefulness, willingness to be a team member, punctual, reliable, and dependable. This position accomplishes most tasks on a independent basis. We seek someone that enjoys helping others and brings a positive outlook to the office. Duties include, but are not limited to, a wide variety of administrative core functions; selling State Park passes to the visiting public, administering the Department's Surfline Proud Partnership Pass Sales Operation, electronic Report of Collections reconciliation, CalCard auditing and FI$CAL reconciling, reviewing and analyzing State Park passes sales documents, gathering, investigating, and analyzing credit card disputes and requests for refunds. Incumbent must be highly self-motivated Please review the Duty Statement for the full scope of responsibilities.
This position requires a valid California Class C Driver's license.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
This position may work up to 1500 hours per year/in a 12 consecutive month period.
