Job Summary
Essential Job Functions:
Receive, process, and analyze a variety of disbursement requests daily that include: Reimbursement Forms Vendor Payment Forms Guest Lecturer Forms Petty Cash Reimbursement Requests Vendor invoices Salary Advance Requests Student Refunds
And ensuring these requests are complete, accurate and compliant and paid in a timely manner.
Analyze and process travel expense reports. Interpret and explain basic State and CSU travel regulations and guidelines against complex travel industry standards. Review and update processes as needed so all stakeholders are efficient. Review invoices to confirm freight and sales tax are charged appropriately and ensure invoices are processed in accordance with Federal and State tax guidelines. Create, review, and continuously improve payment processes and consider new technology. Ensure consistency with established business processes as the subject matter expert (SME) for Payment Services and Procure-to-Pay processes and technologies, such as, but not limited to: Perceptive Content workflow (ImageNow), PeopleSoft, Jagger, Concur, Adobe Sign, and 1099 process. Audit ProCard reconciliation statements Work with clients and partners in process improvement to create efficiencies.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to three years of progressively responsible financial record-keeping experience. (Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the required knowledge and abilities, may be substituted for the required experience).
Salary:
Anticipated Hiring Range: $20.26 - $22.29 per hour
Classification Range: $20.26 - $33.63 per hour
